The TRIAX TMU 518 Unicable Multiswitch is a compact and versatile Unicable-compliant multiswitch designed for modern satellite TV distribution over a single coaxial cable. It allows up to 8 Unicable-compatible receivers to receive satellite signals using a streamlined installation, making it ideal for small to medium residential or commercial systems, retrofits, and tree-structured networks. Its cascade capability and HDTV support deliver flexible expansion and excellent signal quality.
Main Features
Unicable Technology: Supports the EN 50494 Unicable standard for distribution of satellite signals to multiple receivers on a single cable.
Up to 8 Receivers: One Unicable output can serve up to eight compatible tuners.
4 SAT + 1 TER Inputs: Accepts four satellite IF inputs from a Quattro LNB and one terrestrial TV input for combined signal distribution.
Cascade-Ready: Can be cascaded with other multiswitch units to expand the system for more users.
Extra Legacy Output: Includes a second standard output for additional receivers that do not support Unicable.
