The TRIAX TDC4 dSCR/Quad/Quattro Optical Converter is a flexible optical fibre conversion unit that supports SAT IF distribution over passive fibre links with minimal signal loss (about 0.3 dB per 1000 m). It can be configured as a standard Quattro converter or switch to a dSCR/Quad output mode, providing adaptable output options for satellite, terrestrial and radio services from a central feed point. Its space‑saving design replaces bulky coaxial cables with a single optical fibre for efficient long distance distribution.
Switchable output modes: Can operate as a Quattro converter (separate VL, HL, VH, HH and TERR outputs) or as a Quad/dSCR switch combining outputs.
Almost lossless signal transmission: Low attenuation (~0.3 dB per 1000 m) for satellite, DVB‑T and DAB over optical fibre.
Single optical fibre feed: Supports integrated services from one fibre using wideband LNB signals.
Space‑saving installation: A single fibre (3 mm) replaces multiple coaxial cables for simpler deployment.
Wideband support: Compatible with a broad range of channels and future‑proof fibre networks.
SC/APC optical input: Ensures robust single‑mode optical connectivity.
