TRIAX TMS 55 Tap-12

TRIAX TMS 55 Tap-12

The TRIAX TMS 55 Tap-12 is a passive tap accessory designed to split and distribute combined satellite (SAT) and terrestrial (TER) TV signals within a cascaded multiswitch system. It allows installers to conveniently tap off a portion of the trunk signal with a fixed 12 dB tap loss, enabling balanced distribution to additional multiswitch units while maintaining proper signal levels across the network.

Main Features

  • Designed for Trunk Distribution: Enables tapping from a 4-polarity SAT + TER trunk feed for extended multiswitch systems.

  • 12 dB Tap Loss: Provides controlled attenuation on the tapped output to maintain signal balance.

  • Low Through-Loss: Minimal signal loss on the through path helps preserve signal quality.

  • Wide Frequency Range: Supports terrestrial and satellite bands (TER: ~47–862 MHz; SAT: ~950–2150 MHz).

  • High Isolation: Good isolation between trunk and tap paths for reduced interference.

  • 75 Ω F-Connectors: Standard coaxial connections for compatibility with typical RF systems.
